This one day workshop is about making your mark.

Your mark can mean many things so long as it is created from the heart of your sincerity. And because they come from your heart they will be meaningful and unique.

You don’t have to identify with just one. You can create them for different aspects of your life. You may create one to use as a personal stamp or signature for yourself and another to help a friend having a difficult time, or to catalyze a prayer for yourself and the Earth as you journey together toward health.

The process of making a sigil, insignia, or amulet starts with focusing our minds and heart on an intention. We’ll let our conscious and subconscious express themselves through paper and pencil to record the journey of our focused imaginations as marks, doodles, words, or…? We’ll then refine and hone these into symbols with depth and meaning.

Then we’ll carve them into clay. They can be worn, placed on your altar, or carried in your pocket. It can adorn an offering bowl, incense container, or candlestick. They can be made for something specific or as an omniscient reminder of optimism.

I’ll have different colors of clay for you to choose from as well a simple palette of underglaze colors to use as decoration.

No experience necessary

Bring lunch. We’ll take a break to eat together if you wish. I’ll serve tea.


All Clay and tools are provided though you may bring your own if you have them.

We respect each person’s decision-making wisdom to take the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of all communicable diseases. Face coverings are welcome but not mandatory.
