In the depth of Winter, or any time of year, we can bring in the Light.

As  you might know, I love having altars, or special places, in the house or garden, to remind me of what matters most. These places are alive. I change them all the time. I add or remove pictures, flowers, or stones, make spontaneous sculptures, and arrange common objects to reveal their innate beauty.

Altars, and the act of caring for them, intertwine the sacred into our lives.

In this workshop we'll explore how to make a simple vegetable oil lamp. This can be the center piece to other elements of making an altar. Perhaps we could combine it with a place for flowers, or a bowl to honor water, and a place for incense.

Altars can be any shape or size. It’s all about your sincerity. They can hang on walls in your home or a fence outside as a single unit or can be a collection of individual pieces to rearrange as the seasons change. I will help you design one that suits your personal situation.

Warning: In time, they may start to appear everywhere. You might catch myself keeping a subtle eye out for magic no matter where you go.

***This workshop goes well with the Sigil Workshop or as preparation for any Creative Pathways excursion or Diamond Heart Path journey.

Some clay experience is helpful, but not necessary.
